The Figure 4 Modular uses compressed air, supplied by the customer, to tension the resin tray membrane during printing. The following safety guidelines should be followed regarding compressed air:

All pipes, hoses, and fittings must not have a rating below the maximum pressure of the compressor. Compressed air pipelines should be identified (in terms of psi) as to maximum working pressure.

Air-supply shutoff valves should be located as close to each Printer as possible.

Air hoses should be kept clean to reduce the possibility of deterioration.

Air hoses should not be laid across areas where they pose a tripping hazard. Hoses should be hung overhead if possible, or otherwise located to prevent accidents.

Hose ends must be secured to prevent snapping off in the event of accidental breakage.

Before disconnecting the Printer from your air system, turn off the air supply at the valve and turn off the Printer.
