When you power the system on, the touch screen will default to the Status screen. This screen shows the status of each Printer connected to your Controller. If you leave this screen, you can return by simply tapping the Status Tab near the top of the screen.
The image below shows the Status screen in Medium view. Please the section Adjust GUI Appearance for information on adjusting the size of items on the screen.
A | Printer Name - This line identifies the Printer by the name you assigned it. The default name is in the format, "Module.[last 4 digits of printer SN]." |
B | Material Type - This line identifies the material type that is running in the Printer. |
C | Print Job Name - This line identifies the name of the current, or most-recent, print job sent to the Printer. After a build has been removed from a printer, and another build is not started, this text says, "No Active File." |
D | Time Left - This line indicates approximately how much time is left in the current print job. |
E | Progress Bar - This bar indicates the percent completion of the current print job. |
F | Printer Status - This line indicates the current status of the Printer. Please see the section Printer/Auxiliary Print Unit Statuses for more information. |
G | Abort Button - Tap this button to abort the current print job. Upon pressing this button, you will have to go through a confirmation popup before the job is actually aborted. |
Tap a Printer's card to expand the parameters and information available to you. There are six card sections, as seen in the image below. If a card section is not expanded, simply tap the collapsed section to view it.
A | Status Card - This card shows the same information as before you expanded it. Please see the section Status Screen for more information. |
B | Material Card - This card shows detailed information on the material cartridge currently installed in the Printer. Please see the section Material Card for more information. |
C | Build File Card - This card shows a print preview of the build file. Please see the section Build File Card for more information. |
D | Detailed Job Data Card - This card shows more-detailed information than the Status Card on the current, or most-recent, print job. Please see the section Detailed Job Data Card for more information. |
E | Printer Info Card - This card shows information about the Printer. Please see the section Printer Info Card for more information. |
F | Resin Tray Card - This card shows the status of the resin tray currently in the Printer. Please see the section Resin Tray Card for more information. |

As mentioned in the section Resin-Tray Card, the display in that card shows the current status of the resin tray. Below is a further explanation of these statuses: Not Present - Indicates that there is no resin tray inside the Printer Tensioned - Indicates that a resin tray is present and that its membrane is under pneumatic tension Untensioned - Indicates that a resin tray is present and that its membrane is not under tension |

A Printer may have one of the following statuses shown in the lower-left corner of the Status Card: Ready - This status means that the printer operator has marked the Printer as "ready" and that all printer sensors that might hinder printing are satisfied. Not Ready - This status means that the printer operator did not mark the Printer as "ready," and/or that one or more printer sensors that might hinder printing is not satisfied. Printing - This status means that the Printer is currently printing. Aborted - This status means that the most-recent print job was aborted. Completed - This status means that most-recent print job has finished building. Untensioned - This status means that the tension arms are not engaged on the resin tray. Disconnected - This status means that the printer cannot connect to the Controller for some reason. Please see item 8 in the Error Message Glossary for more information. Disabled - This status means that the printer has been disabled via the Printer Info. Card. It cannot accept a print job in this state. Failed - This status means that the most-recent build has failed. Low Air Pressure - This status means that there is a pressure loss in the pneumatic system. Please see item 14 in the Error Message Glossary for more information. MCO In Progress - This status means that the operator is currently performing a Material Changeover procedure. |

There are several different statuses that your material cartridge can have: Active - A material cartridge is present, has material inside, and is usable by the printer. Inactive - A material cartridge is present and has material inside, but that the printer is in a state where it cannot use the cartridge for printing, such as during a Material Changeover. Missing - Either there is no cartridge in the MDM or the Cartridge Chip is not detected. Near Empty - Less than 10% of the cartridge's contents remain. Be sure you have premixed a new cartridge to replace it. Empty - The material cartridge is empty. Expired - The cartridge's expiration date has passed. Please use a new material cartridge. Invalid - The Cartridge Chip is either not authenticated or not supported on the printer. Contact 3D Systems Service. Corrupt Data - The Cartridge Chip is not in the proper format. Contact 3D Systems Service. HW Failure - The chip reader on the printer has an error. Contact 3D Systems Service. Material Mismatch - The current cartridge's material type does not match the material type in the material tubes and resin tray. The printer will not allow you to print with this cartridge installed. Please install a cartridge of the same material type. |
