3D Systems first printing solution designed for industrial investment casting applications utilizing 100% wax which replaces the need for injection mold tool development. VisiJet M2 ICast build and VisiJet M2 IC SUW support materials have been specifically designed to provide high quality & low cost wax patterns for rapid metal production. HD Mode provides best pattern quality and is suggested for default printing. For some items, such as gates and runners, surface finish is not critical, and HDF mode provides patterns with a minimum of support wax that can quickly be removed with manual brushing. Parts made in HDF mode often are usable with no solvent cleaning if ultimate quality is not a concern. |
