Tap the IP address on the Settings screen to enter the Network Settings screen.
A
MAC Address - A hardware address for the network adapter in the printer's computer. For display only. This number cannot be changed through this interface.
B
IP Address - The numerical address given to your printer on your network. For display only. This number cannot be changed through this interface.
C
Network Diagnostics - Tap this button to enter the Network Diagnostics screen, which will show where any disconnect might be for the printer. See the Network Diagnostics section for more information.
D
DHCP - a network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to a computer from a defined range of numbers (i.e., a scope) configured for a given network. Uncheck this box to enable editing of the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS Servers.
E
Subnet Mask - hides, or "masks," the network part of a system's IP address and leaves only the host part as the machine identifier. Contact your network administrator if there is a need to change this number.
F
Gateway - a router interface connected to the local network that sends packets out of the local network. For display only. This number cannot be changed through this interface.
G
DNS Servers - the internet's system for converting alphabetic names into numeric IP addresses. For display only. This number cannot be changed through this interface.
H
Done Button - Tap this button to keep all your changes and go back to the Settings home screen.
