Network Settings

This Settings screen shows the basic IP address configurations. The breakdown of this card is below:

A Port A - This is information about Ethernet Port A on the back of your Controller.
B DHCP Toggle - Quick access to turn DHCP on/off. When DHCP is enabled, the network connected to Port A must supply an IP address to the Controller using DHCP. When DHCP is disabled, your network administrator will be able to manually assign an IP address to the Controller's Port A.
C Port B - This is information about Ethernet Port B on the back of your Controller.
D DHCP Toggle - See item B, above.
E Edit - Tap this button to expand the card and view/change more-detailed network settings.

 

 

The following network settings are only for the Controller, and not for individual Printers. Access these settings by tapping the Edit button on the card above.

A IP Address - The IP address of Ethernet Port A on the Controller.
B MAC Address - A hardware address for the network adapter in the Controller. For display only. This number cannot be changed through this interface.
C Network Interface Attributes - These are all values that can be changed when DHCP is turned off. Contact your network administrator.
D Renew DHCP Lease - Tap the refresh btn.jpg button to manually renew the IP address of this Ethernet port.
E Port B - This is information about Ethernet Port B on the back of your Controller. Definitions for items A-D, above, also apply here.
F Cancel - Cancels the current changes to network settings
G Apply - Applies the current changes to network settings
