Remove/Replace MCO Tubing

WARNING: FAILURE TO REPLACE Damaged tubing will risk material spills, a degradation in part quality, and possibly failed builds.

CAUTION: RESIN SPILLS POSSIBLE. WEAR 100% NITRILE GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION THROUGHOUT THIS PROCEDURE.

If your material tube has become damaged in some way, you must replace it. To do this, run the Material Changeover procedure from the previous section with the following exceptions:

  1. You will not replace the material cartridge. You will, however, need to remove the current cartridge and store it until you are finished replacing the tubing.
  2. You must discard the damaged MCO tubing according to all government regulations.
