After placing your order, a 3D Systems representative will contact you to confirm your shipment delivery date. Ensure that the area where you intend to place your Figure 4 Jewelry Printer is ready to move the system into, and that you have the assistance of another person or lifting device, such as a hand truck, before scheduling the shipment of your printer. The following information will guide you through this preparation phase.
Preparation for Receiving
Inform your receiving personnel that the items you ordered will be arriving and arrange for a location to store them until you are ready to install the printer and any accessories. Removing the printer from the delivery truck will require either a pallet jack or forklift, as it will arrive as a cardboard crate strapped to a wooden pallet.
Transporting the Figure 4 Jewelry Printer
When you open the printer crate, use the help of another person or a hand truck to help move the system. If you do not have a hand truck or another person on-site to help you, arrange to have one or both of these aids beforehand.
