3D Systems warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months year from purchase date. See our warranty section here http://infocenter.3dsystems.com/fabpro1000/warranty for specific details on coverage and timing.
Once 3D Systems is contacted and notified of the condition of the 3D Printer and it is validated that the printer has a defect during a warranty period, 3D Systems may issue a FabPro 1000 unit replacement and customers will need to return the defective unit. What is covered under the extended warranty?
We offer extended warranties in one- and two-year options to extend the manufacturer’s warranty beyond the initial first year, to give you additional coverage. The extended warranty coverage is the same as the initial warranty – under normal operating conditions it is limited to the core machine and machine housing components of our proprietary 3D Printers.
