How do I place an order?

Select the region you will be shipping to at https://www.3dsystems.com/3d-printers/fabpro-1000/buy-now and follow the directions to enter your order in our ecommerce store.


When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is authorized for payment when you place the order, and is charged when the items you ordered have shipped.


What credit cards do you accept?

In US, Canada and Mexico, we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express. In Europe, we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, EnRoute, JAL, Maestro and Delta.


Do you accept company purchase orders?

Not at this time, only credit cards.


Can I cancel my order? If so, how do I do it?

To cancel a US, Canada or Mexico online order, please send an email to order@3dsystems.com and include the following information:  Order ID number, item, contact name and email address. In Europe, send an email to customerservice.de@3dsystems.com and include the following information: Order ID number, item, contact name and email address.

Cancellations are only available for items that have not shipped. If an item has shipped before we receive and process your request, and you still do not want the item, please contact us for return policy and instructions.In the US, Canada or Mexico send a request to order@3dsystems.com, in the UK, France, Germany, Italy or Spain, please send your request to customerservice.de@3dsystems.com


Can I change my order ship-to location or billing information after I have submitted the order?

If you have a need to change the shipping address or billing location on your order after it has been placed, in the US, Canada or Mexico, please send an email to order@3dsystems.com with your order number, contact name and address, and the desired changes you want made on your order. Our order administration team will make the changes and notify you when completed. In Europe, please send your email request to customerservice.de@3dsystems.com.


Do I have to pay sales tax? How do I register for tax exemption? Can I get tax refund if my company is tax exempt?

We collect tax in almost every state within the US, unless you provide the appropriate evidence to exempt your sale from sales tax. Any sales tax charged will be indicated once your billing and/or shipping address have been entered during checkout. Note, we do not collect tax on orders shipped to Canada or Mexico, but local customs authorities may charge tax, duties or fees upon import.

If you wish to make a tax exempt purchase, you will need to submit your tax exemption documentation prior to completing your order so that we may setup your account appropriately. In the US/Canada, please email your documentation to order@3dsystems.com and in Europe, please send it to customerservice.de@3dsystems.com. Our team will promptly review your request and notify you when your account has been marked as exempt. If you need to request a refund of sales tax paid on an order, you may do so by providing us with supporting documentation of your exempt status (e.g., manufacturer's exemption certificate or resale certificate). Once reviewed and approved, we will issue a refund of the sales tax paid. Note that any request for a refund of sales tax charged on an order will be issued at our discretion.


Do I have to enter a Value Added Tax (VAT) identification number?

Yes, we require that all orders include a valid VAT number that will be verified.


Will I have to pay VAT?

If the orders are being shipped to the UK and/or Germany, VAT will be collected on the transaction.  For orders shipped outside of those two jurisdictions, the transaction may or may not be taxable from a VAT perspective.


How can I check the status of my order and track shipment?

To view the status of your order, please log into your account on our online store (using the Account icon at the top right of the site at https://www.3dsystems.com/3d-printers/fabpro-1000/buy-now). Once logged into your account, navigate to the orders section. To view shipping information click on the order number and at the bottom of the order listing will be your carrier and tracking number.


Why am I limited to certain countries in the address fields when I am creating an account?

Account creation addresses are limited to our shipping countries which are as follows: In the NA store you can use an address in the US, Mexico, and Canada. In the EU store addresses are limited to France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. In the UK store, you’ll need an address in the UK. However, if needed, you will be able to add an alternative billing address during checkout.
