NextDent C&B Micro Filled Hybrid is a biocompatible Class IIa material* developed for crowns and bridges. The balance between inorganic fillers and the resin give the material its high strength and wear resistance.
The material is easy to finish and polish, and can be stained with all types of composite staining kits. Due to the perfect balance between opacity and translucency the printed crown blends in perfectly between the existing teeth.
In order to achieve good accuracy on C&B MFH it is important to follow the part setup instructions below for orientation and supports. Some other key tips are as follows:
- For improved occlusal detail, angle occlusal surface 45 degrees from the print area as shown in the Orientation section below.
- Auto-place parts to stay away from the edges of film.
- Between prints be sure to use the Resin Mixer to gently stir the material in the tray and refill material tray to be between the minimum and maximum fill lines of the material tray.
CAUTION: Do NOT press down on the film when stirring.
- If detail is blurry, check for proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.
- If detail remains an issue or accuracy is hard to achieve try run the accuracy wizard for this build style.
Crowns have to consider both the occlusal side and margin line when orienting in the SW. The occlusal side should be facing the XY-plane of the grid in 3DSprint™ before orientation rotation. The best starting orientation before checking down facing surfaces is to set the part at 135-degrees of crown occlusal side facing the XY-plane of the grid.

Select the View icon and enable the DOWN FACE check box to view the down facing surfaces of the part.

While the crown is rotated 135-degrees so the occlusal surface is facing the XY-plane of the grid, the down facing surfaces (or support side) of the part will turn RED. The crown should continue to be rotated to minimize the occlusal surface facing the XY-plane and NONE of the inner surface of the part is RED.

Add supports to the part using the Create Supports function under the Smart Supports icon. Look at the supports and determine how they may need to be modified. The supports should not be on the fitted surface or on the margin line.
