Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. For best results orient the parts flat in the build area so the surface fitting the teeth is away from the print platform.
  2. Orient drill guide holes perpendicular to the XY-Plane.  If there are multiple drill guides at different angles try to orient the part to keep them all as perpendicular to the XY-Plane as possible.
  3. Verify proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.

NextDent® C&B MFH (Micro Filled Hybrid)

3rd-Party Software Resources

Import print material into 3Shape software

Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. For improved occlusal detail, angle occlusal surface 45° from the print area as shown in the Orientation section below.
  2. Auto-place parts to stay away from the edges of film.
  3. Between prints be sure to use the Resin Mixer to gently stir the material in the tray and refill material tray to be between the minimum and maximum fill lines of the material tray.

CAUTION: Do NOT press down on the film when stirring.

  4. If detail is blurry, check for proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.
  5. If detail remains an issue or accuracy is hard to achieve try run the accuracy wizard for this build style.

NextDent® Denture 3D+

3rd-Party Software Resources

Import print material into 3Shape software

Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. For improved model-fit, angle palate-fitting surface 30° away from the build area
  2. Rather than deleting auto-generated supports, consider angling your palate 20° or 40° from the build area and auto generating supports in either of these orientations. Removing critical supports because they interfere with a margin line may affect print quality.
  3. Increase the cement gap in your part design if teeth fit poorly.
  4. For best results use the Resin Mixer to gently stir between prints and after the resin has been sitting overnight.

CAUTION: Do NOT press down on the film when stirring.

  5. Verify proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.

Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. Ensure flatter up-facing surfaces are well supported.
  2. When Tray sits for a few hours, a thin hazy film form on the surface of the membrane. While stirring, use the Resin Mixer to gently remove the film from the membrane.

CAUTION: Do NOT press down on the film when stirring.

NextDent® Gingiva Mask

3rd-Party Software Resources

Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. If printing tall parts (not typical of the Gingiva Mask parts), be sure to place them >10mm from each other on the build area.
  2. If parts are tacky (stick to gloves) after following the cleaning procedure, rinse with fresh IPA, before drying and checking for tackiness again.
  3. Verify proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.

NextDent® Cast

3rd-Party Software Resources

Import print material into 3Shape software

Accuracy Tips in 3D Sprint

  1. Highly-textured surfaces will accumulate many unnecessary supports when auto-generating supports. Be sure to erase contact points so that support pillars do not fuse together and break the RPD when supports being removed.
  2. Use tweezers to remove supports if necessary
  3. If parts are failing to adhere to supports, increase Pillar Top Ratio to 0.25.
  4. Verify proper cleaning method. Insure cleaning solvents are not saturated and parts are allowed to dry before post cure.

NOTE 1: Considerations for resin that has been sitting, unused, for over 1 month - If you have a resin bottle like this, simply treat it like a new bottle and mix it for the time specified in the "Brand-new bottle" column in the above chart.

NOTE 2: Ensure that you place the build in your UV curing oven in the same orientation it was printed in, as if the bottom of the oven is the print platform.
